The UK CCLG & BAPS Surgery Oncology Workshop – is being held as part of an event programme linking closely also with the Peter Paul Rickham International Symposium which celebrates the life-time achievements of an eminent paediatric surgeon who was co-founder of the World’s 1st Neonatal Surgical Unit at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in 1953. A faculty of leading national and international experts will deliver state-of-the-art lectures pertinent to surgical oncology practice including the latest state-of-the-art advances of particular relevance to those who practice oncology and a tumour board panel session . The workshop is highly suitable for trainees / residents preparing for the Intercollegiate Speciality Boards Examinations notably FRCS (Paed) and also European Boards – FEBPS. Consultant paediatric surgeons in ‘ early years ‘ practice and consultants seeking to update knowledge base are very welcome to attend.
