With great pleasure we announce the third international symposium on “Pediatric medical devices: Individualized and Child-Centered Medical Technology” to you. It will once again provide participants from hospitals, R&D, industry, government and patient support groups a platform for information, networking and many inspiring ideas on the development and regulation of medical devices for children.
This year’s symposium will be held as a virtual conference on 3 consecutive Tuesdays (each from 2 – 6 p.m. CET) in February.
- February 9, 2021: Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Trials for Children
- February 16, 2021: Virtual & Augmented Reality in Child Health
- February 23, 2021: Pediatric Medical Devices: Research and Development
The agenda of the symposium is now available on the website www.symposium.pedmeddev.org/program.
Safe innovation for children may appear desperately complicated and economically high-risk. But much can be gained if efforts are combined and a larger perspective is embraced. So bring your experiences, ideas and questions to the Symposium and get valuable feedback from all involved stakeholders and international experts. We look forward to your participation and hope for a constructive multilateral dialogue for the benefit of children.
We would be pleased to welcome you.
Yours sincerely
Dr. Ludger Tüshaus Prof. Lutz Wünsch
